An autobiography of my father, Toshio Morishima, born on April 26, 1910, in Fife, Washington..Although he was from an affluent family, he suffered trying to regain his family's status when robbed by his relatives in Hiroshima, Japan.
When Toshio was 17 and his brother, Saburo, was 16, they left Japan for Washington State to earn money to help restore their stolen land and other properties. The two brothers worked tirelessly to earn money to send back to their parents.
This a nonfiction novel about a Nisei man and his trials and tribulations while protecting his family.
